This has to be done through your registered mobile number. The process is initiated when you receive a message from the bank that your request for linking has been processed and accepted. All the other details will be validated by the bank trough UIDAI. On completion of the same, you will receive a success message from the bank.

Another option for linking bank account with Aadhaar card is through your nearest bank ATM. Swipe your card, enter your PIN and select the option ‘services’. Tap on the registrations option and select the adhaar registration option. Select your account type and enter your adhaar card number. On successful completion of the same, you will receive a confirmation message on your phone.

  • Mobile Phone

There are many banks where you can link your aadhaar card through IVR. Just give a missed call on the prescribed number given by the bank. Your bank will then call you back where you can further process your request for adhaar card linking by selecting the right option in the IVR. This is followed by a confirmation message regarding the same and your bank account will be linked with your adhaar card number.
